The Nasdaq Listing and Hearing Review Council (the "Listing Council") has
advised deCODE genetics, Inc. ("deCODE") that the listing of deCODE's common
stock will be reinstated to the Nasdaq Global Market, effective at the open of
the trading session on Monday, June 29, 2009. deCODE's common stock will
continue to trade under the symbol DCGN.
The reinstatement follows the Listing Council's reversal of a decision of the
Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel pursuant to which the listing of deCODE's
common stock was transferred to the Nasdaq Capital Market.
