On June 25, 2009, Mr. Garry L. Anselmo resigned as the Chief Financial Officer of Silverado Gold Mines Ltd. (the "Company").

On June 25, 2009, Mr. Donald Balletto, a member of the Board of Directors of the Company, was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

Mr. Balletto was born in San Francisco, California in 1944, and served in the United States Naval Air Reserve - Active Duty, 1965 -1967. Mr. Balletto graduated from California State University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) and began his professional career in 1970 as an accountant with the firm of Rooney, Ida, Nolt & Ahern, Certified Public Accountants, in Oakland, California. He then worked with Canada Safeway from 1973 until his retirement in 2006, serving as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Staff Negotiator, and finally as Director of Labour Relations. Since his retirement, Mr. Balletto has worked as a part time labor relations consultant.
