On June 25, 2009, Terra Industries Inc. ("Terra") announced that on July 1, 2009, it will temporarily idle production at its 500,000 ton-per-year Donaldsonville, Louisiana ammonia manufacturing facility due to current market economics. Terra plans to restart the facility when market conditions improve. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
