At 10:45 AM ET on June 23, 2009, Shawn Guertin, Chief Financial Officer of
Coventry Health Care, Inc. (the "Company") will be presenting at the Wachovia
Securities 19th Annual Mid-Year Equity Conference in Boston, Massachusetts.
During the presentation the Company will reiterate previously provided full year
earnings per share (EPS) guidance of $1.70 to $1.90, excluding the effect of the
pending First Health Services transaction. The public may access a live webcast
