On June 22, 2009, Conseco, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release to announce that a recent National Association of Insurance Commissioners ("NAIC") action to modify the mortgage experience adjustment factor for 2009 will benefit its risk-based capital ratio. A copy of the Company's press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
