Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On June 15, 2009, Capitol Bancorp Limited (Capitol) accepted the resignation of
Michael F. Hannley, a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Hannley has retired
from his service as a member of the Board of Directors, a position he has held
with Capitol since 2002. Mr. Hannley continues to serve as President and CEO of
Bank of Tucson, an affiliate of Capitol.
