On June 17, 2009, National Penn Bancshares, Inc. issued a press release entitled, "National Penn Bancshares Raises Over $70mm Under Temporary Enhancements To Dividend Reinvestment and Stock Purchase Plan; Management Comments on Unusual Trading Activity."
