Item 8.01. Other Events.
The Spectranetics Corporation (the "Company") and the other named defendants
have entered into a settlement agreement and release with the plaintiff and his
spouse in Scott Schlesinger v. The Spectranetics Corporation, et al. In
accordance with the settlement, the above-referenced lawsuit has been dismissed
with prejudice and the charges of his spouse have been withdrawn. The settlement
is within the limits of the Company's insurance and does not constitute an
admission by the Company or any other person of any wrongdoing or violation of
any law.
