On June 8, 2009, the registrant, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a joint press release reporting preliminary data from their Phase II study of ALN-RSV01, an RNAi therapeutic in development for the treatment of respiratory syncytial virus infection.
