On June 8, 2009, The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein, announcing it had launched tender offers to purchase, for cash, (i) any and all of its $250 million 5.40% Notes due 2009 and (ii) up to $500 million in aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 7.25% Notes due 2011 and its Floating Rate Notes due 2010.
