Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On June 3, 2009, William K. Rusak, who is 63 years old, announced his intention to retire from his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Corrections Corporation of America, a Maryland corporation (the "Company"), effective December 31, 2009. Mr. Rusak also indicated that he will remain available to assist the Company on an as needed basis through June 2010.
