Appointment of Principal Officers.
On May 29, 2009, Raymond A. Lancaster and J.B. Richey announced their retirement
from the STERIS Corporation Board of Directors effective as of the Company's
Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on July 23, 2009. The Company extends
its sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Lancaster and Mr. Richey for their
many years of leadership, guidance, thoughtful counsel and numerous
contributions to STERIS.
