On June 4, 2009, American Physicians Capital, Inc. announced in a press release that it has received approval from the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation to pay an extraordinary dividend totaling $30 million from its primary subsidiary, American Physicians Assurance Corporation to its holding company, APCapital. The related press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein as referenced.
