Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 3, 2009, PRIMEDIA Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that the New York Stock Exchange (the "NYSE") had informed the Company that it is in compliance with NYSE standards for continued listing. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by this reference.
