On May 29, 2009, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that it will convene a meeting of its Advisory Committee for Pharmaceutical Science and Clinical Pharmacology to discuss bioequivalence recommendations for oral vancomycin hydrochloride capsule drug products.
