Centrue Financial Corporation (the "Company") announced the appointment of
James J. Kerley, Jr. as Executive Vice President and Senior Lender of the
Company effective May 27, 2009. Mr. Kerley previously served in similar
capacities for Mercantile Bancorporation Inc., Boatmen's Bancshares, Inc. and
Mark Twain Bancshares, Inc. and has over thirty years banking and financial
services experience in the St. Louis area.
