On May 20, 2009, Graphic Packaging International, Inc., a subsidiary of Graphic Packaging Holding Company (the "Company"), received notification from the Internal Revenue Service that its registration as an alternative fuel mixer had been approved. On May 21, 2009, the Company filed for a tax credit refund in the amount of $42.1 million, reflecting the credit for using liquid fuel derived from biomass at its West Monroe, Louisiana and Macon, Georgia mills through May 17, 2009.
