Departure of Director
As previously reported on March 10, 2009 in a Current Report on Form 8-K,
Mr. James Kwok provided notice on March 5, 2009 that he would not stand for
re-election as a Director of UCBH Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") and United
Commercial Bank (the "Bank") when his term expires.
Effective May 21, 2009, Mr. Kwok tendered his resignation as a Director of
the Company and the Bank. Mr. Kwok has served as a member of the Boards of
Directors of the Company and the Bank since July 20, 2005. He was a member of
the Credit Committee of the Board and a member of the Nominating Committee of
the Board.
