Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers. On May 12, 2009, Mr. Kambiz Hooshmand resigned as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (the "Company") and as a member of the Company's Board of Directors.
Dr. Paramesh Gopi, age 40, the Company's Senior Vice President, Chief Operation Officer and member of the Company's Board of Directors, succeeded Mr. Hooshmand as the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer as of May 13, 2009.
