On May 11, 2009, Emerson Radio Corp. (the "Company") announced that it has
acquired the Ölevia trademarks, licensing rights and intellectual property
related to the brand from Syntax- Brillian Corp., which currently is operating
under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. A copy of the press release is
attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
