Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers

On May 4, 2009, the Board of Directors of Resources Connection, Inc. (the "Company") announced the election of two additional members to its Board of Directors. Effective immediately, Susan J. Crawford will join the Board and will serve on the Corporate Governance, Nominating and Compensation Committee. Mr. Wargotz will also join the Board immediately and will serve on the Company's Audit Committee. A copy of the press release announcing Ms. Crawford and Mr. Wargotz's election is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
