(b) On April 30, 2009, James E. Altmeyer, Sr. submitted his resignation as a
director of the Board of Directors of CNX Gas Corporation (the "Company") to
the Company (effective April 28, 2009). Mr. Altmeyer continues to serve on
the Board of Directors of CONSOL Energy Inc., a beneficial owner of more than
80% of the Company's outstanding common stock.
