On April 27, 2009, HF Financial Corp. (the "Company") issued a press release regarding results for the quarter ended March 31, 2009. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

Quarterly Cash Dividend
The company announced on April 27, 2009, that it would pay a quarterly cash dividend of 11.25 cents per common share for the third quarter of the 2009 fiscal year. The dividend will be paid on May 15, 2009, to common stockholders of record on May 8, 2009.
The company announced on April 27, 2009, that it would pay a quarterly cash dividend on its Fixed Rate Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock (Series A) issued to the U.S. Treasury Department under its voluntary Capital Purchase Program. The dividend amount is equal to $12.50 per preferred share.
