On April 27, 2009, City Holding Company ("the Company") issued a news release, attached as Exhibit 99.1, announcing that City National Bank's insurance division, CityInsurance Professionals, had acquired two leading insurance agencies located in the Kanawha Valley: the Patton Insurance Agency based in Nitro, and the Dickens & Clark Insurance Agency based in Teays Valley.
