On April 22, 2009 Snap-on Incorporated (the "Corporation") issued a press release entitled "Snap-on Announces First Quarter 2009 Results; EPS of $0.60 for the first quarter 2009; Global recession and general uncertainty cause expected lower sales and earnings; Continues planned expansion efforts in emerging-growth markets."
