On April 15, 2009, Shiner International, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that Bank of Communications, one of China's leading banks, had entered into a letter of intent for a Strategic Cooperation Engagement with Shiner pursuant to which the bank may grant a line of credit of RMB270 million (approximately US$38 million based on the current conversion rate) to the Company in the future.
