Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On April 5, 2009, Mr. Keith E. Wandell tendered his resignation as President and
Chief Operating Officer of Johnson Controls, Inc., without having any
disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's
operations, policies or practices. Mr. Wandell's departure will be effective
April 30, 2009. At this time, the Company has not taken action to hire or
appoint anyone to the role of President.
