Chemical Financial Corporation ("Chemical") will hold its annual meeting of shareholders on Monday, April 20, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. local time. At the meeting, the shareholders will (1) elect thirteen directors; (2) vote on the proposed amendment to the Restated Articles of Incorporation to authorize the issuance of up to 200,000 shares of preferred stock; and (3) conduct any other business that may properly come before the meeting.
