Item 8.01. Other Events.

On March 30, 2009, LMI Aerospace, Inc. (the "Company") reduced the workforce at two of its locations by a total of approximately 60 employees, representing approximately 6% of its Aerostructures segment's headcount. The Company has initiated this employment reduction in order to adjust its employment level to better align with customer demand, reflecting the current economic environment and uncertainties in the aerospace and defense industries. The costs related to the reduction in workforce, consisting primarily of severance payments and outplacement services, are not expected to be material.
