Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On March 23, 2009, Citizens, Inc. ("Citizens") appointed Kay E. Osbourn, age 42,
as its Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Osbourn
succeeded Thomas F. Kopetic, who currently remains with Citizens. Ms. Osbourn
joined Citizens as Vice President, Internal Audit in 2008. Prior to that
Ms. Osbourn served as Vice President, Assistant Treasurer and Controller for
National Western Life Insurance Company from 1992 to 2008.
Citizens does not have a material employment agreement with Ms. Osbourn.
