Members of Edison International management will use the presentation attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 in meetings with institutional investors and analysts during March and April 2009. The presentation contains 2009 earnings guidance. Edison International had previously indicated that it would provide 2009 guidance once it received a decision on Southern California Edison Company's 2009 General Rate Case. That decision was made by the California Public Utilities Commission on March 12, 2009. The presentation will also be posted on Edison International's web site as a reference on business performance and strategies for investors.
