Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

Xcel Energy Inc. management will meet with investors in Texas, Kansas and Missouri on March 4 and March 5, 2009. Management plans to update investors on the company's strategy and reiterate 2009 earnings guidance of $1.45 to $1.55 per diluted share. In addition, management will reaffirm Xcel Energy Inc.'s safe, secure and growing dividend.
