Item 8.01 Other Events.

On March 3, 2009, as part of a previously-announced share repurchase program, Superior Uniform Group, Inc. (the "Company") entered into a trading plan with Cantor Fitzgerald pursuant to Rule 10b-18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, which provides for the Company to repurchase shares of its common stock, subject to the terms of the plan, for the period beginning March 3, 2009 through May 4, 2009, unless earlier terminated.
