On March 3, 2009, Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. issued a press release announcing that Frank Smith has joined Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. as the President and CEO of Gulf Marine Fabricators, the Company's South Texas facility. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
