On February 17, 2009, the Board of Directors of Britton & Koontz Capital Corporation (the "Company") declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $.18 per share, payable on March 13, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 28, 2009. On February 18, 2008, the Company issued a press release announcing the declaration of the quarterly cash dividend. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
