On February 13, 2009, the board of directors of FPL Group, Inc. (FPL Group) declared a regular quarterly common stock dividend of $0.4725 per share, which raises the annual dividend to $1.89 per share. This represents an increase of approximately six percent from FPL Group's previous quarterly common stock dividend. The dividend is payable March 16, 2009, to shareholders of record on February 27, 2009.
