On February 9, 2009, Advanced Medical Optics, Inc. (the "Company") announced that it amended the previously announced tender offer and consent solicitation with respect to the Company's 7½% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2017 to increase the tender offer consideration and extend the consent deadline until 12:00 Midnight, New York City time, on February 24, 2009.
