On February 10, 2009, The DIRECTV Group, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release, which contained information regarding the fourth quarter 2008 consolidated results of the Company. The press release did not include certain financial statements, related notes and certain other financial information that will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission as part of the Company's Annual Report on Form 10-K. A copy of the press release relating to such announcement, dated February 10, 2009, is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
