On February 3, 2009, Terex Corporation ("Terex" or the "Company") issued a press
release announcing that it is updating its 2008 earnings guidance. A copy of
this press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
Item 8.01. Other Events.
Terex also announced in its press release that it will be releasing its fourth
quarter and year-end 2008 financial results on Wednesday, February 11, 2009,
after the close of the market. Further, Terex will host a conference call on
Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 8:30 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, to review the
Company's fourth quarter and year-end 2008 financial results. The teleconference
and a replay of the teleconference will be accessible to the public.
