On February 2, 2009, Northwest Bancorp, MHC, parent company of Northwest Bancorp, Inc., issued a press release announcing Northwest Bancorp, MHC's acquisition of Keystone State Savings Bank, a mutual savings institution headquartered in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania. A copy of the release is included as exhibit 99.1 to this report and is being furnished to the SEC and shall not be deemed "filed" for any purpose.
