Officers.
On January 29, 2009, Mr. Simon deBree informed the Board of Directors
("Board") of Entergy Corporation that he will be retiring and would not stand
for re-election as a member of the Board. He will continue to serve as member
of Entergy's Board until his term expires at Entergy's next annual meeting of
shareholders on May 8, 2009. Mr. deBree has served as a member of the Entergy
Board of Directors since 2001.
