Officers
On January 26, 2009, Mercury General Corporation (the "Company") received the
resignation of Charles E. McClung from the Board of Directors of the Company
effective immediately. Mr. McClung has been a director of the Company and its
predecessor since 1961 and the Board of Directors expresses its appreciation to
Mr. McClung for his nearly 50 years of service on behalf of the Company and his
invaluable advice on all types of agent matters. Mr. McClung had no
disagreements with the Company, its Board of Directors or its management in any
matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices.
