Interleukin Genetics, Inc. (the "Company") has been granted an extension by NYSE Alternext US LLC (the "Exchange") for submitting a plan, advising the Exchange of the actions the Company has taken, or will take, that would bring it into compliance with the continued listing standards as set forth in Part 10 of the Exchange's Company Guide, from the original deadline of January 23, 2009, until January 30, 2009.
