In December 2008, Polypore International Inc. ("the Company") and the union at its lead-acid battery separator plant in Owensboro, Kentucky agreed to a new labor contract. The new contract was ratified by the union on December 30, 2008 and will remain in effect through April 1, 2012. This contract replaces the existing labor contract that was scheduled to expire on March 30, 2010."
