(b) Retirement of Named Executive Officer
On January 7, 2009, Michael J. King, Senior Vice President of Farmer Bros. Co.,
a Delaware corporation (the "Company"), announced his retirement after 35 years
of service with the Company effective March 2, 2009. Effective immediately, his
responsibilities have been assumed by Thomas W. Mortensen, Vice President of DSD
Sales and Operations of the Company, who will report to Drew Webb, Executive
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. King will continue to assist
the Company on special projects.
