John A. Stall, executive vice president of the nuclear division and
chief nuclear officer of FPL Group, Inc. (FPL Group), has announced
his plan to retire following the first quarter of 2010, following a
15-month transition period for his successor that commenced on
January 1, 2009.
Item 8.01 Other Events
On January 7, 2009, FPL Energy, LLC, an indirect wholly owned
subsidiary of FPL Group, changed its name to NextEra Energy
Resources, LLC.
