On December 22, 2008, Evan M. Levine delivered notice to ADVENTRX
Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the "Company") of his resignation as a member of the
Company's Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Levine's letter of
resignation indicated he has no disagreement with the Company on any matter
relating to its operations, policies or practices.
