On December 22, 2008, Ark Restaurants Corp. issued a press release announcing that Michael Weinstein, its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will be appearing tomorrow on CNBC's Squawk Box at 8:40 a.m. as part of a panel discussion regarding the effects of the economy on the restaurant industry, the text of which is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
