On December 11, 2008, Osteotech, Inc. (the "Company") announced that its Board of Directors had authorized a stock repurchase program under which up to $5.0 million of the Company's common stock may be acquired in open-market and privately negotiated transactions. The press release announcing the stock repurchase program is filed as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
