The first paragraph of Item 2.02 of the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by Finisar Corporation on December 9, 2008 is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows (to correct the reference to financial results to the financial results for the second fiscal quarter and to eliminate references to a transcript of the conference call).
On December 9, 2008, Finisar Corporation issued a press release announcing its financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended November 2, 2008. The press release relating to the financial results is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
